After the devastating plane crash in 1977, Lynyrd Skynyrd lost 3 band members, Steve Gaines, Cassie Gaines and Ronnie Van Zant.
Surviving members Gary Rossington, Allen Collins, Billy Powell, and Leon Wilkeson started Rossington-Collins Band, with the help of Dale Krantz Rossington, Barry Lee Harwood and Derek Hess.
In 1980 they released "Don't Misunderstand Me".
This is our tribute to Rossington-Collins Band
All I See Is You
You are a mystery
It's never been revealed to me
A riddle that I just can't figure out
You are the peace of mind
I've been waiting my whole life to find
Some comfort in a world of fear and doubt
And I'm blinded
By your light.
Every cloud in a endless sky
Every ray of a new sunrise
Every time I close my eyes.
Baby All I See Is
You and me on an open road
Top rolled down and a lifetime to go
I've searched inside my heart and soul
All I See Is You
You are the masterpiece
That my eyes can't believe
A vision of my wildest dreams
You are the saving grace
That saw me thru my darkest days
With a touch that filled my every need
All my hopes
and fantasies
Every cloud in a endless sky
Every ray of a new sunrise
Every time I close my eyes
Baby All I See Is
You and me on an open road
Top rolled down and a lifetime to go
I've searched inside my heart and soul
All I See Is You
All my past and all my future
All wrapped up, right now with you
In Everything I ever do
Baby All I See Is You
Every cloud in a endless sky
Every ray of a new sunrise
Every time I close my eyes
Baby All I See Is
You and me on an open road
Top rolled down and a lifetime to go.
I've searched inside my heart and soul
All I See Is You
All I See Is You You

Mississippi Leg Hound
It all started 3 years ago
I was barrelin down an old country road.
When he strolled out and stopped in front of my truck.
Well I blew the horn
And I hit the brakes.
And when all the dust cleared away,
Starin back at me was a one-eyed mangy mutt.
Well he scratched his ear and didn't move.
I could tell he had an attitude.
When I jumped out and yelled he held his ground.
Then he walked over to my side and with a twinkle in his eye. He introduced himself and I knew I found.
A Mississippi Leg Hound
He just lays around.
He don't do no tricks.
Coon dog and a Beagle mix.
When it comes to love
He's a legend in this town.
You can't keep a good dog down.
He's a Mississippi Leg Hound.
Stranger stuck his foot in my door
Tried to sell me something I couldn't afford.
I said "C'mon in you come to the right place"
Well ya shoulda seen that boy's face
When he and my dog started to embrace.
Once he starts you best let him have his way.
He's a Mississippi Leg Hound.
He's known for miles around.
He don't do no tricks.
Coon dog and a Beagle mix.
When it comes to love he's a legend in this town.
You can't keep a good dog down.
He's a Mississippi Leg Hound.
Just a Mississippi Leg Hound
He just lays around.
He don't chase no sticks.
Coon dog and a Beagle mix.
When it comes to love he's a legend in this town.
You can''t keep a good dog down.
He's a Mississippi Leg Hound.
Yes he is.
Get off me boy.

Good Way To Say Goodbye
Green light gas pedal gonna hit the floor
Tires screaming fishtailing blowing off the doors
C U LATR on my license plate
Now the time has come it's goin down tonight
All you're gonna see is dust in my tailights
That's a Good Way To Say Goodbye
What a Good Way To End the Night
Sure been fun but now I gotta run
And send it on down the line
Thats a Good Way To Say Goodbye
Crowds dancing everybody's up and on their feet
Bands cooking drums kicking out a country beat
We've been rocking all night
And we hate to go
But the lights are goin down
And they're stomping on the floor
Everybody's screaming they want one more
That's a Good Way To Say Goodbye
What a Good Way To End the Night
Sure been fun but now I gotta run
And send it on down the line
Thats a Good Way To Say Goodbye
Like Ol' John Wayne saddled up to ride
Off into the sunset of a Western Sky
That's a Good Way To Say Goodbye
What a Good Way To End the Night
Sure been fun but now I gotta run
And send it on down the line
Thats a Good Way To Say Goodbye

MOONSHINE XXXMAS
The snow is coming down and it's freezing cold outside
Better make more homemade brew
And get drunk til I'm blind
Ain't no Xmas
Ain't no Xmas up in here.
Have yourself a Moonshine XXXmas
And a Honky Tonk New Year
Well the elves are on strike
Santa's reindeer flew away
Mrs. Claus found her another man
Now I'm here to say.
Ain't no Xmas
Ain't no Xmas up in here.
Have yourself a Moonshine XXXmas
And a Honky Tonk New Year
Well it's been a long hard year
And it's always bad news
If I send a little Rotgut Whiskey
You can drink away your blues
Ain't no Xmas
Ain't no Xmas up in here.
Have yourself a Moonshine XXXmas
And a Honky Tonk New year.
You have yourself a Moonshine XXXmas

KEEPING THE COUNTRY ALIVE
I got a hubcap birdbath out in the yard
Got a fixer up pickup out in the barn
Got a barefoot girl, she's damn good looking
Raised on the Bible, and Mama's home cooking.
Like Junior said y'all
"We all can survive"
Keeping The Country Alive
We're proud to say
Downhome American Made
Up with the sun each day
Choppin' cotton, bailin' hay
We like it this way.
We're just simple folk with a simple way of life.
Keeping The Country Alive
Got a new crop of corn and a fresh patch of beans
Then we pick them tomatoes and fry'em up green
Have a few friends over on a Sunday afternoon
Clean a mess of catfish
Throw'em on the barbecue
Relive a few stories, bout the days gone by
Keeping The Country Alive
We're proud to say
Downhome American Made
Up with the sun each day
Choppin' cotton, bailin' hay
We like it this way
We're just simple folk with a simple way of life
Keeping The Country Alive
Saturday night we grab our guitars
Head out to the porch with some shine in a jar
Pick that old-time music staying up half the night
The Country Alive
We're proud to say
Downhome American Made
Up with the sun each day
Choppin' cotton, bailin' hay
We like it this way
We're just simple folk with a simple kind of life.
Keeping The Country Alive

ALWAYS LOOKING FOR A TRAIN
I was born a restless kind.
It's in my blood to move on down the line.
Where I'm from is where I'm at.
All I own is on my back.
I'm Always Looking for a Train.
Stay one step ahead of the Man.
C'mon try to catch me if you can.
By the time you find me out.
I'm half way to the next town.
I'm Always Looking for a Train.
You don't see no roots growing.
Hello, I must be going.
When I hear that whistle cry.
Leave a trail of smoke behind me.
Railroad ties are all that bind me now.
I'm Always Looking for a Train.
Oh Let's roll!
I let you have your way with me.
Your forever man, I'll never be.
Don't go falling for my touch.
If one night ain't enough.
I'm Always Looking for a Train.
You don't see no roots growing.
Hello, I must be going.
When I hear that whistle cry.
Leave a trail of smoke behind me.
Railroad ties are all that bind me now.
I'm Always Looking for a Train.
Lord I'm never satisfied.
I'll be runnin til the day I die.
I'm Always Looking for a Train.

Willie D. McClung "GET YOU SOME OF THIS!
Get You Some Of This!
I was havin a beer down at Eddie's Place
When this ol' boy got in my face
Tryin to throw his weight around
He didn't like the way I looked or talked
I wasn't lookin for trouble at all
But I'd be damned , if I'd back down.
If you wanna stir up a hornet's nest
Come on son
Get You Some Of This!
This dog's been asleep a while
Don't take much to get him riled.
This country boy you see is what you get.
I can be a little hard to handle.
Burn little hotter than a roman candle.
All fired up
The fuse is lit. C'mon c'mon
Get You Some Of This!
She was tearing up the dancehall floor
The band would stop she'd yell "ONE MORE!"
In a little blue dress
Legs up to here.
Thru the smoky haze I caught her eye
Started shakin my way and smiled
What was on her mind was becoming clear.
I gave her a wink, she blew me a kiss
Come on girl Get You Some Of This!
This dog's been asleep a while
Don't take much to get him riled.
This country boy you see is what you get.
I can be a little hard to handle.
Burn little hotter than a roman candle.
All fired up
The fuse is lit.
C'mon c'mon
Get You Some Of This!
If ya wanna Rock
If ya wanna Roll
Get down home with a little bit of soul.
Wanna get Wild
If ya wanna LIVE.
C'mon c'mon Get you some of this.
Ooh Yeah, Get You Some Of This!
Lookie here
This dog's been asleep a while
Don't take much to get me riled.
This country boy you see is what you get.
I can be a little hard to handle.

Willie D. McClung "CRYBABY HOLLOW"
There's a spooky place in Hartselle Alabama known as "CRYBABY HOLLOW". Located off of Highway 31, there's a long dirt road leading to a narrow bridge. At night it's very dark and ominous and if you get out of your car, they say you can hear the cries of a baby. Legend has it, that back in the old covered wagon days, a family was crossing the bridge when suddenly, something happened and the horse and cart tumbled into the muddy waters of the creek below. Lost in the tragedy was an infant child who was washed away in the current and was never seen again. Legend also has it, you can hear a woman sobbing as she was never reunited with her child, and today, the mother roams the creek bank frantically forever searching.
CRYBABY HOLLOW
There's a little dirt road off of 31,
just past that old Flint sign.
There's a one lane bridge back in them woods,
where the kids go on Friday nights.
It's a spooky little spot around the creek.
Ain't no place for the young, scared, or weak.
The story's been told a million times,
About hearing that baby cry.
Crybaby Hollow,
Where Heaven and Earth merge in that muddy water.
In the olden days of a horse and wagon,
a family moved off the ridge.
They were lookin to start a new life and it ended on that bridge. The whip cracked and the wagon wheel snapped Their world came tumbling down They searched for days but all was lost
When that child was never found.
Crybaby Hollow
Where Heaven and Earth merge in that muddy water,
If you're on the bridge in the dead of the night.
You'll hear a mama weeping and a baby crying.
Then you'll feel a chill in the air.
Then you won't believe what you see in that creek
A little face at the bottom.
It's the legend of Crybaby Hollow.
If you ever find yourself on that dirt road.
Please take good care.
Cause when you're on that bridge and you hear those cries.
You feel a chill in the air.
Crybaby Hollow
Where Heaven and Earth merge in that muddy water.
